SEND Tutor — Northampton

Powertutors is seeking a qualified SEND Tutor to deliver A' Level Criminology, Sociology and Law for a student in Northampton on a part time basis across the academic year, starting in September.

About the Role

As a SEND Tutor, you'll provide personalised, one-to one support for this student with additional learning needs, helping them achieve their educational goals in a positive and encouraging environment.

• Delivering individual tuition tailored to the student's strengths, challenges and learning objectives.
• Creating and adapting lesson plans that align with students's individual needs and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), where applicable.
• Support the learner who is unable to access a mainstream classroom setting.

About you

We're looking for a tutor who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with

additional needs.

• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia or other learning differences.
• Be able to adapt your teaching approach to suit each individual's preferred learning style.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families through excellent communication skills.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have previous tutoring experience, or possess relevant experience within an educational setting (preferred but not essential).

• £25–£35 per hour - Term-time only
