Online KS2 Maths and English Tutors (Weekend / Evening lessons)
J & D UK Ltd is a tutoring and educational consulting company based in Hammersmith, London, which helps prepare students - mostly from China, Hong Kong and Singapore - for a wide variety of examinations including 11+, 13+ and 16+ school entrance assessments, GCSEs and A-levels. We support our students over the long term, often beginning from primary school and continuing up to their preparations for university.
Currently we are looking for experienced and motivational teachers for KS2 Maths and English who are available to teach on evenings and weekends. Lessons are mostly taught remotely via Classin, an online learning platform, however we sometimes have our London-based tutors come to our office to teach in-house.
The ideal candidate has:
- Qualified Teacher Status and/or excellent experience of teaching primary-aged children
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
- Passion for teaching
- Excellent behaviour management and organisation skills
- An up-to-date DBS certificate
- Proof of right to work in the UK
You will need to:
- Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with student's individual needs
- Tutor students 1:1
- Set homework
- Assess and monitor pupils' work
- Record students' progress and provide written feedback after each lesson
