Triquetra Education is a socially conscious, academically rigorous tuition provider based in Oxford. We pride ourselves on offering outstanding educational support to students, with a strong emphasis on integrity, subject excellence, and personalised guidance. We offer tuition in all subjects and at all levels, both online and in-person.

We are currently seeking a motivated and academically excellent Physics tutor to work online with a high-achieving Year 13 student. The student is predicted a B at A-Level, but has received disappointing mock exam results and needs an academic boost over the next year. She is currently studying at a grammar school in Gloucestershire. The tuition will take place online and at a day and time that suits you.

Why Join Triquetra?

  • Join a small but growing community of tutors committed to social responsibility and academic excellence

  • Work with motivated, engaged students and supportive families

  • Benefit from a professional and nurturing working environment

  • Most of our tutors come from top UK universities (including Oxford and Cambridge) and many are postgraduate students balancing study and work, or aspiring teachers building experience

  • Competitive starting pay of £20/hour, rising with qualifications and experience. All other costs are also covered, including DBS Application if needed, travel costs, resources, online platforms.

  • Full training and ongoing support provided - especially helpful for early-career tutors

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong academic background in Physics – ideally with a degree related subject to the subject, and A Level results of B/A/A* or equivalent

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential

  • Ability to work independently and complete light admin (via TutorBird – training given)

  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if not already in place

  • Organised, professional, and reliable, with a student-centred approach
