Tutor - English

Triquetra Education is a socially conscious, academically rigorous tuition provider based in Oxford. We are currently seeking a motivated and academically excellent English tutor to work in person with a high-achieving Year 11 student (last assessment, level 7 in IGCSE). She is currently studying at a prestigious independent school in Oxford and boards during the weeks. The tuition will take place at her home once a week in Headington, beginning in the new academic term (likely weekends, to be confirmed). The family would also like to book some dates in the summer holidays from August 16th to prepare her for the new term.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong academic background in English – ideally with a degree in English (or related subject), and A Level results of B/A/A* or equivalent

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential

• Ability to work independently and complete light admin (via TutorBird – training given)

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if not already in place

• Organised, professional, and reliable, with a student-centred approach
