EM Tuition is an education business with a vision to close the inequality gap in education by providing inclusive services to all. EM Tuition is a small, fast paced team, based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire working directly with Local Authorities to provide an excellent service for children mainly with SEND who may need alternative education or support.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Contracts Director and will be required to work predominantly from the office.

Role Profile

The Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role at EM Tuition, overseeing the full lifecycle of learner experience and ensuring contract profitability. They are responsible for delivering excellent service across allocated accounts while supporting business growth.

"You’ll play a key role in keeping communication flowing between all parties—parents, tutors, schools, and the Local Authority—so that each pupil receives the consistent, joined-up support they need to thrive. Your work will directly shape better outcomes for children who need it most, by helping everyone stay informed, aligned, and focused on what’s best for the learner."

Key responsibilities and objectives of the job are:

Responsibilities

  • Create long term value for the business
  • Have detailed local knowledge and understand the market you operate in
  • Work with BID Writers or write mini BIDS to bring in new business t
  • Build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders associated with allocated accounts
  • Manage all enquiries, for example, tutors, schools and parents related to specific accounts
  • Create and communicate required information and reports
  • Attend and lead meetings with the account contacts
  • Attend planning, review, medical and safe guarding meetings as and when required
  • Ensure monthly KPI’s are met and exceeded
  • Own and manage the P&L for contracts managed
  • Create and update related documentation for managed account
  • Be responsible for Tutor assessments and provide feedback
  • Build and maintain relationship with Tutors
  • Source & allocate the right Tutor to their allocated contracts
  • Support tutors in their location with all aspects of their role (lessons plans, communication)
  • Evaluate, analyse and monitor progress of each tutor and their learners
  • Create and present monthly reports on performance of contract

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications and or training

Prepared to undertake DSL training

Educated to level 4 or above

2+ years’ experience of contract/relationship management
