Role Description
We're seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly-qualified self-employed tutors to deliver one-to-one tutoring and consultancy to clients in the UK and across the globe.
This is a hybrid role for Self-Employed Private Tutors at Taylor Tuition in the London Area, United Kingdom and based remotely throughout the UK.
The Private Tutors will be responsible for delivering personalised tuition, creating engaging teaching resources, and utilising data-driven insights to enhance student learning. Our tutors are highly professional, communicative, and proactive - if this sounds like you then we'd love to have you join us.
This role may involve in-person tutoring as well as remote tutoring opportunities depending on the location of the tutor. Tutors will be operating on a self-employed basis, working on varied assignments with client families, schools, and businesses.
In particular, we are currently seeking tutors in the following subjects:
- Maths
- Science (Physics/Biology/Chemistry)
- Modern Languages & Cultures (e.g. French, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Italian, German, Arabic)
- IT/Coding
- School Admissions (e.g. 11+/13+/ISEB)
- Humanities (e.g. History, Geography)
- Law
- Classics (Latin/Greek/Ancient Civilisation)
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in providing personalised teaching and creating engaging teaching resources
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching approaches
- Knowledge of data-driven insights for educational purposes
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Experience in education or relevant field
- Minimum. Bachelor's degree (First Class) in your specialist subject from a leading university
Desirable
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) / PGCE Qualification
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher in leading Independent Schools in the UK
- Examiners for UK Exam Boards
- MA/MSc/PhD Qualifications
