Tutor for KS2 English and Maths

J&D UK Ltd is a professional educational consultancy provider in the UK, specialising in UK independent schools. During the 10-years of our professional consultancy, we have assisted with applications to independent schools based in the UK. 

We are looking for tutors who can help our students with KS2 English and Maths in preparation for the 11+ / 13+ ISEB pre-test and deliver co-curricular lessons for years 3-6. The ideal candidate has: 

• Demonstrable tutoring experience
• Passion for teaching
• Experience working with children
• Experience in teaching Maths and/or English for KS2-KS3 and/or appropriate subject expertise
• Excellent behaviour management and organization skills
• A Standard DBS Check for Online Lessons
• English (native level)
• Experience teaching international students would be an advantage
• Eligible to work in the UK

You will need to:

• Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with students' individual needs
• Assess and monitor pupils' work and feedback
• Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on a one-to-one basis
• Record students' progress and provide written feedback
