Position: Freelance SEND Tutor – Stratford-upon-Avon (In-Person)

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (Student’s Home)
Rate: £30-40 per hour
Hours: Flexible weekday mornings, starting with 1 hour per day and with potential to increase to 2 hours per day as the placement develops. We are open to discussing hours that suit the right candidate.

About the Role:
Love2Learn Education is looking for a skilled SEND Tutor to provide one-on-one support for a Key Stage 1 student with additional needs. This role is ideal for tutors with experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), developmental delay, and communication needs, including proficiency with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the student’s unique needs.
• Deliver engaging, sensory-based 1:1 sessions that focus on developing communication skills.
• Support the student’s learning journey through AAC tools and sensory approaches.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEND students, particularly with ASC, developmental delay, and non-speaking students.
• Knowledge of sensory-based approaches and AAC devices.
• Enhanced DBS check (on the update service) and up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Right to work in the UK.
• QTS is preferred but not essential.
