£18-33 per hour


The Role:
This position is Self Employed and requires tutors to work in-person (at the student’s home or in-school) or online delivering curriculum relevant and appropriate material in a positive and engaging way to students of all ages. As a tutor you will be responsible for preparing and delivering each session for your student, and the accurate and timely recording of work carried out or set during a tuition session. You will work with our Schools and Families matching teams with the aim of providing tailored and student focused tutoring to engender confidence and achieve student goals.


Responsibilities:
• Delivering 1:1 tutoring sessions at the student's home (generally evenings and weekends)
• Delivering 1:1 or small group sessions in schools (generally during the school day)
• Clarifying and teaching subject matter
• Assessing student's knowledge on a regular basis
• Presenting a friendly, and professional demeanour


Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent level qualification (Essential)
• Minimum 1 year’s tutoring experience (Essential)
• Knowledge and understanding of UK Curriculum and Examinations process (Essential)
• Passion for your subject/s and the ability to share that passion (Essential)
• Full clean UK Driving License 
• Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Safeguarding and Prevent Training Certificates
